Consultation Process:

Why do you need a consultation?

Immunizations or “travel shots” are recommended based on several important factors such as:

  1. Your state of health
  2. Age
  3. The risks at your specific destination
  4. Your accommodations etc….

Risks can even vary within a specific country. Contributing risk factors include:

  1. Territory
  2. Altitude
  3. Longitude & Latitude
  4. Time of Year
  5. Rural or Urban Centres

The job of the physician is to provide the most up-to-date information necessary for you to make an informed, educated decision on which immunizations will best suit your needs based on your travel itinerary. In some cases you may decide the risk is minimal and choose not to proceed with certain immunizations, with others, you may take into account the advice of the physician. It is all a part of the consultation process.

Immunization certificates are provided to all patients.

Immunizations provided for: Yellow fever, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Polio, Typhoid, Tuberculosis and more. Contact us for further details.
